Research Focus


For the past three years, Dr. Pierre has concentrated his efforts on understanding the dynamics of small-scale farming systems, particularly emphasizing the benefits of intercropping systems. His research aims to optimize socio-economic production systems and social networks to promote sustainability and resilience on smallholder farms. Dr. Pierre is also actively involved in the development and application of crop simulation models and decision support systems to address agricultural challenges in developing countries.
